The origin of this great "battle" of tomatoes was in a fight juvenile onset in 1945. Since then she has never ceased to stand. This unique festival brings each year a crowd of people willing to spend a great moment of laughter and entertainment, helping tomatoes. In this joyful battle, participants have fun like children to throw tomatoes at anyone they encounter on their way. The day begins at 9 am, on the village square, where we take the forces distributed pastries with the mayor. Gradually, the scene began to fill with people. Before the battle, they erected a mast to cover soap at the end which is placed a ham. The boldest attempt to climb the highest for the prize in the general laughter. From the balconies, buckets of water are introduced to people who are preparing for battle. At eleven o'clock sounded the start of the battle at the bottom of the street, is the first truckload of "ammunition", announcing his arrival in honking. Those who have climbed in the trailer start to launch the first tomatoes. Finally, the vehicle stops and releases the load: when the crowd starts to stock up on "bullets," and within seconds, the scene is tinged with red. One after another, arriving truckloads of tomatoes, stir until the second shot signaling the end of the battle. Then begins the hard task of cleaning water jet the brave participants who are already thinking about the next Tomatina.
