La Villa Margherita est située dans le bâtiment historique communément connu comme le Haus Dr Schwietering (1908-1913) et a ouvert ses portes au public à la fin de Mars 2008 après une rénovation intensive et exigeante de mise à jour. Tout en conservant la structure originale et le charme unique de cette vieille maison coloniale que nous avons fait tout notre possible pour en faire la maison d'hôtes de nos rêves. Gardant à l'esprit que le mot «Guesthouse» signifie «maison des invités" nous avons préféré renoncer à plusieurs chambres en faveur d'un hébergement plus relaxant, spacieux et privé où le service nous donne l'occasion de gâter nos hôtes et leur faire sentir qu'ils font partie de notre histoire, l'histoire de Swakopmund et du Sud-Ouest africain. Nous croyons que grâce à notre expérience italienne dans le restaurant de l'hôtel Il Tulipano (ouvert du lundi au vendredi seulement) un accord parfait avec la Villa a été atteint. Nous disposons de 8 chambres doubles exquise dont 1 pouvant être convertie en une unité familiale avec deux chambres-salon et une villa, appelée Villa Tulipano, constitué de 2 chambres en suite, salon avec TV satellite complet et bien plus encore. Toutes les chambres ont une salle de bains, la plupart d'entre elles avec salon privé, TV écran plat, connexion Internet, sèche-cheveux (1 point Internet disponible gratuitement dans le salon-bar et plusieurs ordinateurs portables disponibles pour un usage privé sur demande). Une seule chambre offre deux lits simples toutes les autres chambres ont un lit king size ou deux lits queen size. Toutes nos chambres sont uniques et différentes les unes des autres en taille et en forme. Les serviettes sont changés tous les jours alors les draps sont changés tous les deux jours. En traversant la route et près de notre bâtiment privé, il y a une unité supplémentaire appelé «Honey Moon» avec terrasse privée et d'un parking et qui, outre l'ensemble de nos installations de base et des meubles superbes, est également équipé d'un ordinateur portable privé, pleine bouquet de télévision par satellite , stéréo, lecteur DVD, mini-bar avec boissons non alcoolisées gratuites et un café italien-capsules machine. Le petit déjeuner est servi individuellement (pas de buffet) 07:00-09h30 et d'ailleurs les choix habituels chaude et froide fait cependant à la minute, le saumon fumé est disponible sur demande et sans frais supplémentaires. Service de blanchisserie pour nos hôtes est également disponible sur demande et moyennant un supplément.

descriptionVILLA MARGHERITA Guesthouse came to life in the historical building commonly known as Dr. Schwietering Haus (1908-1913) and finally opened its door to the public at the end of March 2008 after an intensive and challenging one year renovation & upgrade. While maintaining the original structure and the unique and innate charm of this old colonial house we did our utmost to turn it into the Guesthouse of our dreams. Keeping in mind that the word “Guesthouse” means “house of the Guests” we preferred to renounce to more bedrooms in favor of more relaxing, spacious & private accommodation where dedicated service gives us the opportunity to spoil our guests and let them feel part of our history; the history of Swakopmund and South West Africa. We believe that through our truly Italian in-house restaurant Il Tulipano (open from Monday to Friday only) a perfect love match with the Villa has been achieved. We offer 8 exquisite double rooms of which 1 can be converted into a family unit with two bedrooms & lounge area and a villa, called Villa Tulipano, consisting of 2 en-suite bedrooms, living room with full satellite TV and much more. All the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, most of them a private lounge area, flat TV, safe, hairdryer & wireless internet connection (1 internet point available free of charge in the lounge bar and several laptops available for private use upon request, too). Only one bedroom offers two single beds all other bedrooms have either king or queen size beds.
All our rooms are unique and different from each other in size, shape and furniture so do not expect any replica among our small guesthouse. Across the road and close to our private building, there is an additional unit called the “Honey Moon” with private terrace and parking and which, besides all our basic facilities and stunning furniture, is also equipped with a private laptop, full satellite TV bouquet, Stereo, DVD player, mini-bar with complimentary soft drinks and an Italian coffee-capsules machine. Breakfast is individually served (no buffet) from 7.00am to 9.30am and besides the usual hot&cold choices done however a la minute, smoked salmon is available upon request and without additional charge. Laundry service for our guests is also available upon request and at an additional charge.

Tout en conservant la structure originale et le charme unique de cette vieille maison coloniale que nous avons fait tout notre possible pour en faire la maison d'hôtes de nos rêves. Gardant à l'esprit que le mot «Guesthouse» signifie «maison des invités" nous avons préféré renoncer à plusieurs chambres en faveur d'un hébergement plus relaxant, spacieux et privé où le service nous donne l'occasion de gâter nos hôtes et leur faire sentir qu'ils font partie de notre histoire, l'histoire de Swakopmund et du Sud-Ouest africain. Nous croyons que grâce à notre expérience italienne dans le restaurant de l'hôtel Il Tulipano (ouvert du lundi au vendredi seulement) un accord parfait avec la Villa a été atteint. Nous disposons de 8 chambres doubles exquise dont 1 pouvant être convertie en une unité familiale avec deux chambres-salon et une villa, appelée Villa Tulipano, constitué de 2 chambres en suite, salon avec TV satellite complet et bien plus encore. Toutes les chambres ont une salle de bains, la plupart d'entre elles avec salon privé, TV écran plat, connexion Internet, sèche-cheveux (1 point Internet disponible gratuitement dans le salon-bar et plusieurs ordinateurs portables disponibles pour un usage privé sur demande). Une seule chambre offre deux lits simples toutes les autres chambres ont un lit king size ou deux lits queen size. Toutes nos chambres sont uniques et différentes les unes des autres en taille et en forme. Les serviettes sont changés tous les jours alors les draps sont changés tous les deux jours. En traversant la route et près de notre bâtiment privé, il y a une unité supplémentaire appelé «Honey Moon» avec terrasse privée et d'un parking et qui, outre l'ensemble de nos installations de base et des meubles superbes, est également équipé d'un ordinateur portable privé, pleine bouquet de télévision par satellite , stéréo, lecteur DVD, mini-bar avec boissons non alcoolisées gratuites et un café italien-capsules machine. Le petit déjeuner est servi individuellement (pas de buffet) 07:00-09h30 et d'ailleurs les choix habituels chaude et froide fait cependant à la minute, le saumon fumé est disponible sur demande et sans frais supplémentaires. Service de blanchisserie pour nos hôtes est également disponible sur demande et moyennant un supplément.

meta_description_for_layoutVILLA MARGHERITA Guesthouse came to life in the historical building commonly known as Dr. Schwietering Haus (1908-1913) and finally opened its door to the public at the end of March 2008 after an intensive and challenging one year renovation & upgrade. While maintaining the original structure and the unique and innate charm of this old colonial house we did our utmost to turn it into the Guesthouse of our dreams. Keeping in mind that the word “Guesthouse” means “house of the Guests” we preferred to renounce to more bedrooms in favor of more relaxing, spacious & private accommodation where dedicated service gives us the opportunity to spoil our guests and let them feel part of our history; the history of Swakopmund and South West Africa. We believe that through our truly Italian in-house restaurant Il Tulipano (open from Monday to Friday only) a perfect love match with the Villa has been achieved. We offer 8 exquisite double rooms of which 1 can be converted into a family unit with two bedrooms & lounge area and a villa, called Villa Tulipano, consisting of 2 en-suite bedrooms, living room with full satellite TV and much more. All the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, most of them a private lounge area, flat TV, safe, hairdryer & wireless internet connection (1 internet point available free of charge in the lounge bar and several laptops available for private use upon request, too). Only one bedroom offers two single beds all other bedrooms have either king or queen size beds.
All our rooms are unique and different from each other in size, shape and furniture so do not expect any replica among our small guesthouse. Across the road and close to our private building, there is an additional unit called the “Honey Moon” with private terrace and parking and which, besides all our basic facilities and stunning furniture, is also equipped with a private laptop, full satellite TV bouquet, Stereo, DVD player, mini-bar with complimentary soft drinks and an Italian coffee-capsules machine. Breakfast is individually served (no buffet) from 7.00am to 9.30am and besides the usual hot&cold choices done however a la minute, smoked salmon is available upon request and without additional charge. Laundry service for our guests is also available upon request and at an additional charge.
