The hotel Akerblads and Gästgiveri is a family hotel and the oldest farmhouse in the village of Tällberg. Formerly, people lived on agriculture and forest and ancillary they organized parties, weddings and funerals. It was not until the year 1910 for the family to transform the site into a hotel. Today, the old farm is partitioned into several parts, after a great division in 1903, when the son who had inherited the farm, died. A draw between the other brothers and sisters was held to decide who should inherit the farm and the lot fell on Gatu Kersti Olsdotter who by marriage had taken the name of Åkerblad. Today it is the 19th, 20th and 21st Akerblads generations, welcomes you warmly. A farmhouse dating from the 15th century with the warm and authentic atmosphere of Dalecarlia.

  • SINGLE ROOM Individually sweet country designed guest rooms, where most of the rooms have a view overlooking the main garden. Some of the single rooms have a tile stove as decoration in the room.
  • SMALLER DOUBLE ROOM These rooms are a little bit smaller then our double rooms, but are furnished in the same lovely romantic feeling. The rooms has a 120cm bed.
  • DOUBLE ROOM Our double rooms are individually decorated with love. Almost every room has a view overlooking the main garden, and in some of our double rooms we warmly welcoming the family pet.
  • MINI SUITES The mini suites are all very charming and very romantic furnished. Almost every room has a view overlooking the garden. Some of the rooms has also a balcony and an open fire place. In some of the mini suites there is a single sofa bed in the room
  • MINI SUITES WITH WHIRLPOOL The mini suites with whirlpool are newly refurnished in a modern romantic style. Most of the rooms has a balcony with garden view. All the rooms has a seperate sitting area.
