Over 360 years ago Don Juan de Sepulveda first furrowed the fields that surround Hacienda Sepulveda, one of the most prosperous of the haciendas sprinkled throughout the Lagos de Moreno area. Anyone wanting to explore this region will find the most authentic of hospitality experiences at this rural mansion. It has been the property of the Serrano family for three generations and has been a labor of love for Juan Alfonso Serrano who has spent the last 10 years preparing it for its new role as a premium hotel. Architectural additions to the original structure were harmoniously incorporated and seamlessly blend with original boveda ceilings and thick stone walls, today housing eleven suites which are all decorated in colonial fashion and feature wood-burning stoves. A dozen top-breed horses can be seen grazing from your spot poolside. Rates showed do not include taxes.

  • Mama Cuca Mama Cuca (MCS): This refreshing suite with views of the garden is located in the house's second patio. It includes a king-size antique bed.
  • Chulavista Chulavista (CHS): This suite, located on the second floor of the Hacienda, includes a chimney, and its colorful décor is in the Mexican style
  • Media Luna Media Luna (MLS): A spacious suite, also located on the second floor features 2 double beds, a sofa with a garden view, hand-carved wardrobes
  • La Abuela La Abuela (LAS): This small and very cozy room was the ancient refuge of Mamalena, the grandmother. A large mirror beautifully frames the wall

  • Eugenio Casa Suite Casa Eugenio(ECS): This roomy master suite, in its varied tones of brown and beige, recalls the ambiance of "tio abuelo" its former occupant.

  • El GITANO El Gitano, precious woods of the furniture, mix well with the shell-shaped Jacuzzi, all combining to create a very comfortable space.
  • EL CENTAURO El Centaurio, king size bed, spacious and unique marble Jacuzzi bath, provides the ideal privacy for enjoying the calm and tranquility.
  • EL SUSPIRO El Suspiro, a cozy suite, filled with details and memories of the antique Hacienda.
  • LA CHABELA La Chabela, classic decor, This suite used to be the home of the hacienda mare that was named Chabela.
  • LA TROJE La Troje, suite on two levels, featuring a spacious sitting area and bedroom.
  • LAS GOLONDRINAS Las Golondrinas, living room, on the lower level, mixes beautifully with the cozy bedroom on the second floor.
