La Casa Delfino Suites, est un élégant hôtel particulier vénitien du 17ème siècle dans le vieux port de La Canée, en Crète. Il a été soigneusement et joliment restauré en un hôtel de luxe avec vingt et une suites. Une entrée isolée conduit à la grande cour abritée de galets en mosaïques, où vous pourrez profiter de l'ombre paisible. La vieille ville fortifiée invite le visiteur à se perdre parmi ses agitation théâtrale de boutiques, de marchés, tavernes et la vie des rues du village. La ville est un beau puzzle de Minoan, Venise, et de l'architecture turque souligné par des carrés cachés. Il y a tant à voir: les gorges de Samaria, un parc national qui a la plus longue gorge en Europe, avec des paysages spectaculaires le long de ses dix-huit kilomètres. Ou faire une marche jusqu'à Agia Roumeli qui prend six ou sept heures. Egalement Gramvousa Castle et Balos Bay: autrefois un repaire de pirates, ce bel endroit est accessible par bateaux. Moni Agias Triadas, un monastère avec un église et son multi-dôme du 17ème sur la péninsule d'Akrotiri. Moni Gouvernetou, datant de la période vénitienne, est encore habitée par des moines. Moni Chrysoskalitsas, connu pour les 90 marches qui mènent à son église. Le centre Blue Diving, une école de plongée professionnelle qui propose des excursions d'une journée vers les meilleurs sites de plongée. La Casa Delfino Suites possède un petit bar élégant qui mène à un coin salon, puis sur la grande cour privée remplie d'arbres, des fleurs, et un cactus énorme. C'est là que le petit déjeuner buffet est servi. Le personnel est très sympathique.

It has been carefully and attractively restored as an exclusive luxury hotel with twenty-one suites. A secluded entrance leads to the large sheltered courtyard of pebble mosaics, where guests can enjoy the peaceful shade. The old walled town invites the visitor to become lost amongst its theatrical bustle of shops, markets, taverns, bars, and village street life. The town is a beautiful puzzle of Minoan, Venetian, and Turkish architecture highlighted by hidden squares. There is so much to see and many excursions to choose from. Samaria Gorge, a national park that has the longest ravine in Europe, with spectacular landscapes along its eighteen kilometers. Or take a rugged walk down to Agia Roumeli that takes six or seven hours. There is also Gramvousa Castle & Balos Bay - Once the haunt of pirates, this beautiful location is accessible by charter boats that will take you there for a day trip. Moni Agias Triadas, a monastery with a 17th century multi-domed church on the Akrotiri peninsula. Moni Gouvernetou, dating back to the Venetian period, is still inhabited by monks. Moni Chrysoskalitsas, named for the 90 steps that lead up to its church; a 5km walk up from Elafonisos. There is the Blue Diving Center, a professional diving school / diving shop that has classes and day trips to the best diving locations. Casa Delfino Suites is seventeen kilometers from the Chania International Airport; a fifteen minute taxi ride. Souda Bay is the nearest port, at a distance of seven kilometers. Transfer arrangements can be made with the concierge for transfers between the hotel and your point of arrival / departure. Casa Delfino Suites has a small stylish bar that leads to a sitting area, then out to the large private courtyard filled with trees, flowers, and an enormous cactus. This is where the daily breakfast buffet is served. The staff is very friendly.

There is the Blue Diving Center, a professional diving school / diving shop that has classes and day trips to the best diving locations. Casa Delfino Suites is seventeen kilometers from the Chania International Airport; a fifteen minute taxi ride. Souda Bay is the nearest port, at a distance of seven kilometers. Transfer arrangements can be made with the concierge for transfers between the hotel and your point of arrival / departure.
